what to expect //
Our intern structure aims to give exposure to all facets of church, ministry and staff life. It involves 20hrs a week of ministry involvement and development, plus regular teaching and input from the School of Leadership and Theology team.
Each intern will choose a particular ministry department head to serve alongside at Grace Vineyard Church.

Operation Hours can be spent doing any number of things, in service of the church operating smoothly. Attendance of a Life-group on any evening is also important and encouraged.

Connect with amazing children and help them learn how to love Jesus and love others.
Learn the inner workings of planning and outworking an engaging and meaningful children’s ministry programme every Sunday
Use your gifts and talents weekly and for special groups and events
Receive input from pastors personally and professionally
Worship leading and musical development
Worship opportunities at various campuses and events
Opportunities in an area of interest e.g. sound engineering, social media communications , song writing, album production, worship mentoring etc.
Administration support for Sunday worship and worship events
Take part in worship training and schools
Team Planning, Set up and Pack down of Youth Events and Services
New People Follow up
Pastoral Care of Youth
Recruiting and care of volunteers
Creating social media posts/events
Input from pastors personally and professionally
Young Adults and Events
Working alongside the young adults leadership team to shape the vision and culture of our community.
Sunday night service involvement (planning, preparation, leading teams, ministry areas etc.)
Assisting with the planning and executing young adult and other church events (e.g. Table Talk, Winter Retreat, conferences, other social events)
Specialized areas to be decided on interest, options could include media, discipleship, evangelism, prayer ministry, pastoral care, creativity etc.
Be part a team who cover the video and photo production process from start to finish, as well as being involved in media coverage at different church events.
Ranging from weekly family news videos to mini-documentary pieces, and a great chance to learn and sharpen media production skills.
Opportunity to take the initiative and find solutions, especially in the moment during events and shoots, and build a great foundation of technical knowledge.
In the midst of all of this, you will get to meet and interview a whole bunch of people from the Grace community, and help tell the stories of what God is doing in their lives.
Work alongside a Campus Pastor to see what it takes to run a campus and get some hands on experience in leadership.
Help in different projects depending on the campus, which will help facilitate growth and development of different areas dependent on needs and your gifting’s.

Get involved in local schools, breakfast clubs and mentoring programs.
Serve, and help facilitate local outreach including Kairos Free Store, and other community trust initiatives through Grace Vineyard Church.
Work alongside other community organisations, to implement and develop new initiatives including coal-face evangelism and outreach.
